The IOL Master from Carl Zeiss is the world’s first instrument for the totally non-contact measurement of all data required for the calculation of intraocular lenses. It provides key information necessary for IOL power calculations: It measures axial length, anterior chamber depth and performs keratometry. Its axial length measurement is unaffected by accommodation or pupil size. The instrument can also perform IOL power calculations using several formulae.
