Very good condition with case, instructions, spare bulb included. Welch Allyn Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope (BIO) 12500. Not had much use. Battery works great. I charged for a short time from a low charge state waited two weeks and the charge remained. The battery is housed on a belt clip. If that battery were flat (forgotten to charge it) you can still operate by plugging the battery into the mains via the 3-pin plug.
Very bright light (variable rheostat). PD adjustment. Screw type adjustment over both vertex of calvarían and occipital protuberance to achieve snug fit. Angle of unit can be adjusted and lever to change illumination stop (aperture) and light colour (green/RF, blue, white) and vertical position of light.
Never forget, the very bright illumination affords you the option to use for pupil testing (highly collimated beam can be used on mid sagittal plane from just under 1m) or gross assessment of fluorescein stain/Seidels in patients unable to use a slit lamp. A 20D Volk lens (not included) used as a simple loupe is ideal, to this end.
