Farnsworth D15 Dicotomous Colour Test for congenital and acquired colour defects

The test contains a reference disc holding notation 10 B 5 4 and fifteen numbered discs which make up an incomplete colour circle. The patient arranges the discs and then evaluation of the patient's arrangment separates 'normal' colour perception from moderate and strong defects in deutan, protan or tritan axis colour discrimination.

The discs are enclosed in a sealed plastic box. Arrangement is done using a magnet. The discs are kept clean and cannot be lost
