Sellers Guide & Fees

Follow these simple steps to upload your free advert:

• To ease the use of the website, Register your details (not compulsory but advised)
• Input details of equipment for sale.
• When deciding upon a selling price, consider the following:
  • the cost of delivery and insurance
  • take into account our fee (see below) payable from the proceeds of a successful Sale

The simple guide to successful Selling:

• Advertise your item
• Buyer purchases
• Receive confirmation of purchase and get goods ready for delivery. See our help: delivery for ways of packaging
• Receive confirmation of funds clearing and arrange delivery (Help : Deliveries) within 2 working days
• Await Acceptance of goods by your Buyer.
• Receive payment via cheque or directly into bank account upon confirmation of Acceptance of goods by buyer. Your payment will be the proceeds of the Sale less our fee, any delivery charges incurred and the cost of any additional advertising (all fees plus vat).

Fees Guide(sales from 7.01.07):

• £1 up to £1,000 15% + vat
• £1,001 up to £10,000 10% + vat
• above £10,000 - if you are selling multiple items or a single item with a value above £10,000 please contact us for a quote

Note: Sellers must inform Optical Marketplace™ immediately if their item is no longer available for sale. Send an email quoting the unique advert i.d. number info@opticalmarketplace.co.uk
