£57.00Kay Screening Book Set
Reference: OMP3198
One book contains everything you need for matching or naming pictures at six or three-metre testing distances (twenty or ten feet).
Its versatility makes it the only vision test you should need for screening pre-school children, saving you from wasting valuable time choosing and swapping tests.
Pictures are fun so it's easy to keep a child's attention. They are also ideal for older children and adults with learning disabilities.
The eight pictures were chosen from the original 22 in the six-metre and three-metre sets and are accurately designed and graded according to the Snellen system. They are used one at a time throughout the test with a choice of three different pictures at each acuity level. A side index identifies each picture and acuity size.
Give the child one of the two key cards (8 or 4 pictures) and ask him to point out the picture that matches each one chosen from the flip-overbook.
Record his vision as the smallest size that he matches correctly. Alternatively, he can name or sign each picture shown.
A near test card with three rows of reduced Snellen size pictures accompanies the test.
Book covers and key cards are encapsulated in hard-wearing plastic and the near test card is matt laminated. These can be wiped clean.
